Eli Kurland is an animator and storyboard artist from Los Angeles. As the son of two comedy tv writers, he grew up learning the elements of a story, humor, and being around the industry. Animated shows like Adventure Time and Regular Show and the works of Satoshi Kon, such a Millennium Actress, inspire his animations.
He is currently at the School of Visual Arts for animation and is working on personal projects such as writing short stories and making TTRPG systems.

Elliot & Gary were two characters created by Eli for a comic strip. In 2018, he gave himself a project where he drew the two in different styles everyday for a year. Since then, the due have become his mascot.
They were name after a friend's braces' band size.
