Eli Kurland is an animator and storyboard artist from Los Angeles. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts for animation and is working on personal projects such as writing short stories and making TTRPG systems.

Elliot & Gary were two characters created by Eli for a comic strip. In 2018, he gave himself a project where he drew the two in different styles everyday for a year. Since then, the due have become his mascot.
They were name after a friend's braces' band size.
